Happy 40th

Here's an Illo I did for The Advocate Magazine, which celebrated it's 40th birthday. To mark teh occation, they did an article about what these various famous and semi-famous folks were doing in their lives when they each turned 40. Had to rush through the job a bit, but am pretty happy with it anyway.

The release of the DVD was pushed back to February 5th, 2008. Dang.

Here Come the 123s... soon

Coming out on October 2nd and available for preorder at amazon.com now, They Might Be Giant's kid's DVD "Here Come the 123's" will feature four videos that I designed and directed for them (three animated, one live-action with puppets(!)). The cover features one of the characers I designed (the one in the middle), which also happens to feature the face of our family dog, Barry. Aw.

Ted "The Hulk" Stevens

Alaska Senator Ted Stevens again for The New Republic, known for his pork barrel politics and a Hulk tie. I used the opportunity to do some channeling of the mid-sixties Jack Kirby.

Karl Rove

My kiss off to Karl Rove done for The New Republic. See, he's a deflating red ballon. Got some levels workin', there, huh?
