Just got the new book of caricatures from Joe Bluhm, called "Rejects." Hours of fun looking through his collection of live caricatures, and in some cases reading the hilarious back stories. As extreme as some of his caricatures are, I feel like I've seen every one of these people before. Have a look at http://www.rejectsthebook.com/home

This is from a film shot in the 50s I believe that I saw in a revival during the 80s, where they time lapsed Picasso at work, It was a revelation to me at the time, not the least of which was because it showed that he wasn't working in bursts of inspiration, but that he changed his mind and made mistakes several times throughout the process, but that's what helped him to carve out the paintings he ended up with. Obviously the music has changed, and I find the line drawings he did in the second half less inspiring, but the first part still amazes me.
